The HTC Desire 520 recently got launched by the company recently, and will be released along with three similar devices. The four devices are released by HTC in an effort to expand the desire series line-up, and make it available to a vast amount of audience. The company also claims that they will be bringing more high end phones features like the HTC One M8’s feature to a more affordable price with the use of this lineup, and users will be able to experience premium quality features at cheap rates.The HTC Desire 520 will be available in only one color variant, which is the Steel Grey color.
The HTC Desire 520will have a 4.5 Inches qHDFWVGA display, having a resolution of 480×854 pixels, with a pixel per density of 234. Being aqHD screen, the colors are expected to appear moderately bright. The screen should be able to appear clear, and sharp. It is expected that the viewing angles of the unlocked cellphone will be good enough to use the phone under direct sunlight without any hassles.
The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 chipset, and will have a Quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. The graphics of the phone will be ran by the Adreno 304 chipset. The HTC Desire 520 will be packed with 1 GB of RAMfor running apps, and multi-tasking inbetween them. The internal storage capacity of the device is 8 GB, which is pretty low. People will have to insert a MicroSD card if they intend to store much more multimedia stuff into the device.
The phone will operate on the Android Lollipop v5.1 Operating System with HTC’s latest Touch Sense 7 UI working on top of the OS. The UI on the unlocked cellphone will be similar to the one found on the other HTC devices. However, the latest UI guarantees that you will be seeing some major and minor improvement to the user experience, and along with the latest Operating system, you will be guaranteed with a number of latest and advanced features.
The HTC Desire 520 will be packed with a 2000 mAh battery. The battery capacity can be seen as pretty low due to a number of devices offering better battery capacity. However, the exact standby time is still not declared or specified by the company, and the company might surprise us by performing some tweaks in the operating system and hardware to prolong the battery life.
The device will feature an 8 MP rear-facing auto-focus equipped with LED Flash camera, which will be able to click fine shots. The unlocked cellphone will be able to capture photos of up to 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution, and will be able to record videos of 720p at 30 frames per second. The HTC Desire 520 will also feature a front-facing 2 MP camera for clicking selfies, and video chatting.
