The Lenovo K4 Note was released in 2016 in the month of January. The device was released as a budget device, and did not compromise in terms of specifications. The mobile phone boasts of mid-high end features, and was made to compete with other budget phones in the same segment. The device is only available in one color variant, which is black. The phone also supports Dual-SIM capabilities, LTE, a fingerprint sensor, and virtual reality support.
Design & Display
The Lenovo K4 Noteadopts a premium metal design, and consists of replaceable rear panels with the Dolby Atmos surrounding the dual front speakers. The camera of the device can be found on the back at the middle, with the Lenovo trademark below it. The device’s measurements is 153.6 x 76.5 x 9.2 mm, with a weight of 158g.
The screen size of the device is 5.5 Inches, and has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, with a pixel per inch density of 401. An IPS LCD type of display is used in the phone’s screen and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen appears bright and vibrant, and the viewing angles of the device are decent.
Software and Hardware
The Lenovo K4 Note runs on the Android operating system, along with its own UI skinned on top of it. The device’s premium hardware paired up along with the latest Android OS is able to deliver a lag-free experience just like other high end Unlocked phones. The device is also expected to get the latest Android updates as soon as they are made public.
The phone will be running on the Android Lollipop v5.1 Operating system, with an expected update to Marshmallow in near future. The device will come powered with a Mediatek MT6753 chipset. The device becomes available only in one storage variant. The Lenovo K4 Note will consist of aMicroSD slot for expanding the storage up to 128 GB for storing media such as audio and video.
